Endeavour's last launch

My husband was able to get a pass for us to go out to watch the last launch of Endeavour from the Turn Basin viewing area at the space center. It is about 3 miles from the launch pad. It was a cloudy day, and so pictures were few.

Endeavour on the launch pad....
The last time it will lift off....

For those of us who have seen many many launches,

it is still quite a sight to see!

as it rolls around.....

and enters the clouds.........

Psalm 19:1

The heavens declare the glory of God;

and the firmament showeth his handywork.

I'll Tell the World that I'm a Christian

I'll Tell the World that I'm a Christian
by Baynard L Fox
(1958)
I'll tell the world, that I'm a Christian,
I'm not ashamed, His name to bear.
I'll tell the world, that I'm a Christian,
I'll take Him with me anywhere.

I'll tell the world, how JESUS saved me,
and how He gave me life brand new;
And I know that if you trust Him,
that all He gave me, He'll give to you.

I'll tell the world, that He's my Saviour,
No other one, could love me so!
My life, my all is His forever,
And where He leads me I will go.

For when He comes, and life is over,
For those who love Him there's more to be;
Eyes have never seen the wonder,
that He's preparing, for you and me.

Oh, tell the world, that you're a Christian,
Be not ashamed, His name to bear.
Oh tell the world, that you're a Christian,
And take Him with you anywhere.

We spent Memorial Day at Sea World......
and did a little 'texting'

Babies

We have been watching a lot of activity over the past couple of weeks happening around one of our topiaries.
"Eugene" has been home to several nests.
The momma bird guards her nest!
She likes to 'dive bomb' anyone that looks too closely.

The first view of the completed nest.

Can you see an egg?

There they are!
Four eggs that will hatch,
and then we will hear chirping outside our front door.

Luke 9:58
And Jesus said unto him,
Foxes have holes,
and birds of the air have nests;
but the Son of man
hath not where to lay his head.
