Atlantis, one more time

For the last time, I stood in our front yard and watched a shuttle launch into space. The children walked down to the river to watch with thousands of other people from all over the world. We have enjoyed this era of the Space Program.

From our front yard.
Altantis .....
you can feel a launch in the ground.... You can hear a launch...

the crowds at the river roar...

the sound of the shuttle roar...

Into the clouds.... Fall and winter launches are nicer...

there aren't as many clouds then.

Atlantis leaves a trail in the Florida sky for the last time......

Let the heavens be glad,
